Custom wood sheds are planned around your yard, your storage needs, and any HOA height limits. You choose the size, roof style, doors, windows, and paint color, and I build the shed on-site with my full-time team member, carrying materials through your side gate. Most builds take 1 to 2 days, and larger custom sheds can take up to a week. Every Custom shed includes radiant barrier roof sheathing, a heavy-duty 2×6 floor, and a 7-year warranty. 2×4 Wall Construction
We frame all our walls with premium-cut 2×4 studs that I hand-pick to make sure they are straight.
Heavy Duty Floor System
We build our shed floors with treated 2×6 floor joists spaced 16″ on center and 3/4″ Advantech flooring. Advantech provides exceptional strength and moisture resistance, and we finish every shed floor with a durable gray floor paint for added protection and a clean, finished look. This floor is in a 10×12 built in Mesa.
LP Smartside Wall Panels and LP Trim
We use LP SmartSide® treated engineered wood siding for its durability, moisture resistance, and long-lasting performance. LP SmartSide® Trim is used around doors, windows, corners, and other exterior details to properly complete the siding installation. Together, they provide a durable exterior built for Arizona’s climate. The trim in the photo is on a 10×8 in Apache Junction.
Architectural Shingles
We use Owens Corning® Oakridge® architectural shingles on gable and lean-to roofs. Their dimensional design gives the roof a more substantial look than traditional 3-tab shingles, while providing long-lasting protection against wind and weather. Choose from 8 popular colors. Low-Slope Roofing for HOA Sheds
For low-profile sheds built under HOA height limits, we use the GAF LIBERTY™ self-adhering roofing system, which is designed for low-slope roofs. This roof is on Amy’s 5×24 in Chandler. See HOA-friendly sheds →
Paint
We use premium Sherwin-Williams® exterior coatings for a durable, professional finish. Depending on the application, we use Emerald® Rain Refresh™ or Everlast™ Exterior Paint & Primer, providing excellent protection against Arizona’s sun, heat, moisture, and changing weather. Exterior colors can be matched to your home for a personalized look. The 10×5 in the photo was matched to a house in Scottsdale.
7 Inch Roof Overhangs
Our 7-inch roof overhangs add a finished look while helping keep rain off the shed walls and doors. They also provide additional shade to help protect the shed from the Arizona sun. This overhang is on an 8×12 in Chandler.
Shed Ventilation
Every Sheds Up shed includes wall vents to promote airflow and help release hot air, especially in Arizona’s heat.
Radiant Barrier Roof Sheathing
We use radiant barrier roof sheathing as a standard feature on our custom wood sheds. It helps reduce heat transfer through the roof, making a difference in hot Arizona summers.
Locking Door T-Handle
Every Sheds Up door comes standard with a locking T-handle and keys, providing convenient and secure access to your stored belongings. The lock in the photo is on an 8×12 in Gilbert.

Heavy Duty Ramp
Make loading and unloading your shed easier with our optional removable aluminum ramp. The ramp provides a smooth transition into the shed and can be easily removed when not needed. It’s a convenient option for moving lawn equipment, tools, and other items in and out. $220
